Our story
Paymentplus began to help businesses thrive. We saw that many local companies were stuck with their banks for payment solutions, leading to limited options and high rates. This didn’t seem fair.
So, we created an independent alternative. Paymentplus is dedicated to finding the best rates and providing accessible, authentic support. We believe that when local businesses succeed, our communities prosper.

Cillian Wright
Cillian Wright
Cillian is responsible for the overall business and strategic direction of the company. Cillian is one of the original founding shareholders of PaymentPlus. Prior to joining PaymentPlus, Cillian was Sales & Marketing Director NER and Head of Global Partnerships at Ingenico Group where he oversaw the Northern EU sales region and worked globally with key accounts such as Apple, Google, Paypal, Amex, Barclays, WorldPay, IKEA and Tesco.
Caoimhin Fahy
Caoimhin Fahy
Caoimhin joined Paymentplus in 2019. Caoimhin runs the finance function for the group and supports in all commercial and pricing aspects of the business. Previously with PepsiCo as Commercial Finance Manager and Sociolocal, a tech start-up, as Head of Finance. He trained as an Auditor with Irish Top 10 audit & assurance firm RBK and held various finance roles in subsidiaries of Aryzta PLC.
Emma McGuinness
Emma McGuinness
Emma joined Paymentplus in 2014 and has grown with the business through a variety of customer-focused and operational roles. Starting as a Client Services Executive, she progressed to Operations Coordinator and later Head of Client Services before being appointed Chief Revenue Officer. In her current role, Emma leads the sales, retention, and customer lifecycle functions, ensuring a seamless experience across all customer touchpoints. She also oversees partner management and drives the introduction of new products to the existing customer base.
Kevin Kenny
Kevin Kenny
Kevin joined Paymentplus in 2018 and runs IT, operations and product. Previously with Ingenico for 14 years as GM Ireland, Strategic Business Development Manager for EU looking after new initiatives and key retailers including IKEA, Lidl and Primark.
